He studied Management and Corporate Finance and Investments at the University of Tartu, Faculty of Economics and Business Administration; he has also studied in various economic universities of Berlin and Paris.
He developed practical skills by working at the International University Audentes as the financial management lecturer and at commercial enterprises Spar and Edeka as a marketing manager.
Although he has also worked as a lecturer, by nature, he is rather a practitioner, who is actively involved in the everyday work of the company. And he is good at what he does! Thanks to his creative ideas and immense energy, Estonian business landscape has gained quite a few enterprises. His work and activities are his hobbies – he loves what he does. He comes to work smiling every morning.
Maria
Manager of the translation bureau; terminologist of economics
Maria, who studied at the University of Tartu, Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, is a leader with specific goals. She has gained experience as a specialist of the Baltic States in the Marketing Department of Stähler International GmbH & Co. KG in Germany.
Currently, she directs the work of 200 employees at Avatar. She has great respect for translators and their work, which is one of the reasons she became involved in this field and has stayed faithful to it already for 15 years.
Maria enjoys her work and cooperation with people who have sparkle in their eyes, which shows that they love their work. Due to her accuracy and ability to analyse, she can find a solution to every situation. There is no expression “not possible” in her vocabulary – everything is possible, if it is necessary.
Her energy and positivity can be felt in the activities and development of the whole company.
Kristiina
Project manager
She has graduated from the University of Tartu and holds a Master’s degree in the business and administration speciality of culture management. She has passed several time management trainings, and with her negotiation abilities, Kristiina can manage projects fast and successfully.
Before coming to Avatar, she was running real estate projects, which gave her valuable experience of time management, as well as project planning and management.
By virtue of her excellent skills of time management and risk assessment, she always completes her projects successfully and on time. She loves to communicate and discuss to find solutions to all tasks through communication.
She enjoys her work that puts her to test in different and new situations every day. Besides the big picture, she also pays attention to details, and as a perfectionist, she always demands high quality from herself.
